Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de recubrimiento acuosa que comprende un compuesto de multiaziridina y un polímero funcional de ácido carboxílico, caracterizada porque (i) la composición es una dispersión acuosa que tiene un pH que oscila entre 8 y 14, (ii) la dispersión acuosa comprende partículas X, cuyas partículas X comprenden un compuesto de multiaziridina y partículas Y, cuyas partículas Y comprenden un polímero funcional de ácido carboxílico, y (iii) dicho compuesto de multiaziridina tiene: a) de 2 a 6 de las siguientes unidades estructurales A: (ver Fórmula) (A) en donde R1 es H, R2 y R4 se seleccionan independientemente entre H o un grupo hidrocarburo alifático que contiene de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, R3 es un grupo hidrocarburo alifático que contiene de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, m es un número entero de 1 a 6, R' y R'' son de acuerdo con (1) o (2): (1) R'= H o un grupo hidrocarburo alifático que contiene de 1 a 14 átomos de carbono, y R" = H, un grupo hidrocarburo alifático que contiene de 1 a 14 átomos de carbono, un grupo hidrocarburo cicloalifático que contiene de 5 a 12 átomos de carbono, un grupo hidrocarburo aromático que contiene de 6 a 12 átomos de carbono, CH2-O-(C=O)-R'', CH2-O-R'''', o CH2-(OCR'''''HCR'''''H)n-OR'''''', en donde R''' es un grupo hidrocarburo alifático que contiene de 1 a 14 átomos de carbono y R'''' es un grupo hidrocarburo alifático que contiene de 1 a 14 átomos de carbono o un grupo hidrocarburo aromático que contiene de 6 a 12 átomos de carbono, n es de 1 a 35, R''''' es independientemente H o un grupo hidrocarburo alifático que contiene de 1 a 14 átomos de carbono y R'''''' es un grupo hidrocarburo alifático que contiene de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, (2) R' y R" forman juntos un grupo hidrocarburo cicloalifático saturado que contiene de 5 a 8 átomos de carbono, t es un número entero de 0 a 3, R5 es H o CH3, X e Y son de acuerdo con (I), (II) o (III): (I) X e Y son ambos N-R6; (II) X es O e Y es N-R6; (III) X es N-R6 e Y es O, en donde R6 es H o un grupo hidrocarburo lineal o ramificado que contiene de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono; b) una o más cadenas de unión en donde cada una de estas cadenas de unión une dos de las unidades estructurales A y c) un peso molecular en el rango de 500 a 10000 Daltons.
