Abstract

El cometido de la invención es lograr un producto extruido expandido para alimento o forraje en el que se suprima la relevancia de las porciones de almidón y/o proteína como ingredientes formadores de estructura esenciales. De conformidad con la invención, lo anterior se logra mediante un producto extruido expandido para alimento o forraje en el que el producto extruido para alimento o forraje contenga como ingrediente formador de estructura esencial una fibra formadora de gel y un ingrediente cristalino con un punto de fusión menor a igual a 150 grados centígrados y los demás ingredientes estén contenidos como rellenos o ingredientes no relevantes para la expansión.
