Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la recuperación de metales de transición de baterías que comprende (a) tratar un material de metal de transición con un agente de lixiviación para producir una lixiviación que contenga sales disueltas de níquel y/o cobalto, (b) inyectar gas hidrógeno en la lixiviación a una temperatura superior a 100°C y una presión parcial superior a 5 bar para precipitar níquel y/o cobalto en forma elemental, y (c) separación del precipitado obtenido en la etapa (b).
