Abstract
Se describen en la presente métodos y sistemas para la detección rápida de microorganismos en una muestra. También se describe un bacteriófago genéticamente modificado el cual comprende un gen indicador en la región de gen tardía. La especificidad del bacteriófago, como el bacteriófago específico de Salmonella, permite la detección de un microorganismo específico, tal como Salmonella spp. y una señal indicadora puede amplificarse para optimizar la sensibilidad del ensayo.
