Abstract

Se describen en la presente métodos y sistemas para la detección rápida de microorganismos tales como bacterias en una muestra. También se describe un bacteriófago genéticamente modificado que comprende un gen indicador que codifica una subunidad de una proteína indicadora. La especificidad del bacteriófago permite la detección de una bacteria de interés particular y se puede amplificar una señal indicadora para optimizar la sensibilidad del ensayo.
