Abstract

Los dispositivos de pantalla de binocular de realidad aumentada y los métodos correspondientes permiten que un usuario final realice la calibración de alineación. De acuerdo con un enfoque, una cámara está posicionada para tener un campo de visión que incluye simultáneamente parte de una imagen proyectada desde la pantalla del ojo izquierdo y parte de una imagen proyectada desde la pantalla del ojo derecho. Al proyectar a través de cada pantalla al menos parte de una imagen de calibración e identificar dentro de la imagen muestreada por la cámara características de alineación de campo de derecho y de campo izquierdo, se puede derivar una corrección de alineación. Los enfoques alternativos emplean la correlación de imágenes muestreadas por cámaras orientadas hacia adelante rígidamente asociadas con las respectivas unidades de pantalla del ojo derecho e izquierdo, o requieren que el usuario ingrese un ajuste manual para alinear las imágenes de cámara intercambiadas transversalmente con la visión del mundo real.
