Description
Claims (10)
- ディスプレイ領域から観察方向に沿って観察者の眼に画像を提供するディスプレイであって、前記ディスプレイは:
(a) 投影方向に沿ってコリメートされた画像照明を投影する画像プロジェクタと;
(b) 第1の主表面及び第2の主表面を有する少なくとも部分的に透明な材料から形成された光学要素であって、前記光学要素は複数の部分反射面を含み、前記複数の部分反射面は、前記光学要素の内部にあり、平面状であり、互いに平行であり、且つ前記投影方向に対して少なくとも部分的にオーバーラップしている、光学要素と;
を有し、
前記画像プロジェクタは、前記ディスプレイ領域内で前記主表面のうちの1つに入射する前記投影方向を有する前記光学要素に対して配置され、前記コリメートされた画像照明の各光線が前記光学要素に入射し、前記観察方向に沿って前記第1の主表面を出射するためにリダイレクトされるように、前記主表面のうちの1つからの事前の反射なしに前記部分反射面の少なくとも2つによって部分的に反射されるように、配向され、
前記投影方向は、50度を超える角度で前記主表面の1つに入射し、
前記画像プロジェクタは、前記光学要素内に前記部分反射面の伸長方向に平行な主要寸法を持つ細長い有効開口を有する画像を投影するための光学開口拡大装置を有し、
前記光学開口拡大装置は、複数の部分反射内部表面を含む光ガイド光学要素を有する、
ディスプレイ。 - 前記画像プロジェクタは、前記主表面のうちの前記1つに到達する前に前記画像照明を修正する色収差補正要素を含む、
請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記画像プロジェクタは、出力方向を持つ画像発生器を有し、前記光学開口拡大装置は、透明材料から形成され、複数の部分反射面を含む光学拡大要素を有し、前記複数の部分反射面は、前記光学拡大要素の内部にあり、平面状であり、互いに平行であり、且つ前記画像発生器の出力方向に対して少なくとも部分的にオーバーラップしており、前記画像発生器は、前記光学拡大要素に入射する出力方向を持つ前記光学拡大要素に対して配置され、前記コリメートされた画像照明の各光線が前記光学拡大要素に入射し、前記投影方向に沿って前記光学拡大要素を出射するためにリダイレクトされるように前記部分反射面の少なくとも2つによって部分的に反射されるように、配向される、
請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記光学要素は平面状スラブである、
請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記光学要素は非平面状スラブである、
請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記画像プロジェクタは、前記主表面のうちの前記1つに到達する前に前記画像照明を修正する歪補正要素を含む、
