Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para mejorar o incrementar la eficiencia de uso de nitrógeno, rendimiento, biomasa, tasa de crecimiento, vigor área fotosintética y/o tolerancia a la deficiencia de nitrógeno de una planta, caracterizado porque comprende sobreexpresar dentro de la planta un polipéptido que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos al menos 80% idéntica a SEQ ID NO: 547, incrementando así la eficiencia de uso de nitrógeno, rendimiento, biomasa, tasa de crecimiento, vigor, área fotosintética y/o tolerancia a la deficiencia de nitrógeno de la planta.
