Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para preparar etilenaminas de la fórmula NH2-(C2H4-NH)pH, en donde p es al menos 2 y en donde una o más unidades -NH-C2H4-NH- están presentes como una unidad de piperazina o precursores de la misma, en donde opcionalmente una o más unidades -NH-C2H4-NH- están presentes como una unidad de etilenurea cíclica o una porción carbonilo está presente entre dos unidades -NH-C2H4-NH-, mediante la reacción de un compuesto con funcionalidad etanolamina, un compuesto con funcionalidad amina en presencia de un agente de suministro de óxido de carbono, en donde al menos un compuesto con funcionalidad amina o el compuesto con funcionalidad etanolamina contiene una unidad de piperazina y la reacción se lleva a cabo en un líquido que comprende agua.
