Abstract
Realizaciones de la presente invención comprenden un sistema (100, 1200, 2000) y método para soldar o unir materiales revestidos utilizando un sistema de soldadura por arco único, o en combinación con un sistema de alambre caliente, en el que el sistema de soldadura por arco utiliza una corriente para soldadura que tiene una parte de corriente CA para crear una gota (D) para transferirla a la pieza (115). En realizaciones adicionales, la pieza (115) está revestida con un material, tal como zinc, y el sistema de soldadura por arco utiliza una forma de onda para soldadura de CA que puede soldar piezas revestidas (115) con poca o sin porosidad o salpicadura y puede lograr un rendimiento mejorado.
