Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a los métodos para seleccionar entre las condiciones que mejoran el crecimiento celular o la generación de biomasa, y las condiciones que afectan la madurez de N-glucosilación de la glucoproteína expresada, producida por células eucarióticas bajo condiciones de cultivo de fermentación, por el ajuste de las concentraciones de hierro, cobre, zinc y manganeso en el medio. De este modo, en los métodos de la presente invención, las células productoras de glucoproteína son cultivadas en un medio que está diseñado a la medida para un resultado final deseado. La invención también abarca el medio y el uso de las mismas.
