Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a la desacidificación de aceites glicéridos. La presente invención proporciona un proceso para eliminar los ácidos grasos libres del aceite glicérido, preferiblemente aceite de palma que contiene ácidos grasos libres, dicho proceso comprende las etapas de: (i) poner en contacto el aceite glicérido que contiene ácidos grasos libres con el líquido iónico básico; en el cual el líquido iónico básico tiene un anión básico seleccionado de hidróxido, alcóxido, carbonato de alquilo, carbonato de hidrógeno, serinato, prolinato, histidinato, treoninato, valinato, asparaginato, taurinato y lisinato; y un catión seleccionado de: [N(Ra)(Rb)(Rc)(Rd)]+, en donde Ra, Rb, Rc y Rd son cada uno independientemente seleccionado de hidrógeno, un grupo alquilo de cadena recta o ramificada C1 a C8, o de un grupo cicloalquilo C3 a C6, en donde dichos grupos de alquilo o cicloalquilo son no sustituidos o pueden estar sustituidos por uno de los tres grupos seleccionados de: alcoxi C1 a C4, alcoxialquilo C2 a C8, cicloalquilo C3 a C6, -OH-SH, CO2 (C1 a C6),alquilo o cualquiera de dos de Ra, Rb, Rc y Rd se combinan para formar una cadena de alquilo -(CH2)q- en donde q es de 3 a 6; y (ii) obtener un aceite glicérido tratado que tiene un contenido reducido de ácido graso libre comparado con la alimentación de aceite glicérido de la etapa (i).
