Abstract
La invención proporciona anticuerpos que se unen específicamente al Inhibidor del Activador de Plasminógeno de tipo 1 (PAI-1). La invención también proporciona composiciones farmacéuticas, así como ácidos nucleicos que codifican anticuerpos anti-PAI-1, vectores de expresión recombinantes y células hospedantes para preparar tales anticuerpos, o fragmentos de los mismos. También se proporcionan métodos de uso de anticuerpos para modular la actividad de PAI-1 o detectar PAI-1, ya sea in vitro o in vivo. Además la descripción proporciona métodos de producción de anticuerpos que se unen específicamente a PAI-1 en el estado conformacional activo.
