Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un inoculante en particular para el tratamiento de hierro fundido líquido, que comprende, por un lado, partículas de soporte hechas de un material fusible en el hierro fundido líquido, y por otro lado, partículas de superficie hechas de un material que promueve la germinación y el crecimiento de grafito, dispuestas y distribuidas de una manera discontinua en la superficie de las partículas de soporte, las particulas de superficie presentando una distribución de tamaño de grano tal que su diámetro d50 es menor que o igual a una décima parte del diámetro d50 de las partículas de soporte.
