Abstract
Composiciones de recubrimiento se pueden preparar a partir de una resma de poliéter injertada con radicales acrílico, en donde el segmento difuncional hidroxilo fenilo más pequeño usado para formar la resma de poliéter injertada con radicales acrílico tiene un peso molecular mayor que aproximadamente 500 y en donde el segmento difuncional hidroxilo fenilo más pequeño usado para formar la resma de poliéter injertada con radicales acrílico no comprende dos o más grupos hidroxilo no afectados unidos a dos o más diferentes anillos de átomos de carbono de cinco miembros o seis miembros en un segmento que tiene un peso molecular menor que aproximadamente 500. La resma de poliéter injertada con radicales acrílico se puede preparar mediante la reacción de un compuesto de dihidroxilo y/o un compuesto de diamina con un compuesto de ácido fenol esteárico para producir un difenol, hacer reaccionar el difenol con un compuesto de diglicidil éter para formar una resma de poliéter y mezclar la resma de poliéter con un componente de monómero etilénicamente insaturado en la presencia de un iniciador para formar la resma de poliéter injertada con radicales acrílico.
