Abstract

Se proporciona un proceso para extraer acetaldehído eficientemente y producir ácido acético de alta pureza establemente; se permite que el metanol reaccione continuamente con monóxido de carbono en un reactor de carbonilación 1 en presencia de un sistema catalizador; la mezcla de reacción se alimenta continuamente en un evaporador instantáneo 2 para formar una fase volátil (2A) que contiene ácido acético y yoduro de metilo; la fase volátil (2A) se alimenta continuamente en una columna de separación 3 para formar un destilado (3A) que contiene yoduro de metilo y acetaldehído y una corriente (3B) que contiene ácido acético; la fase volátil (2A) y/o el destilado (3A) se enfría mediante un primer condensador C1, C3 a una temperatura de enfriamiento predeterminada; y el componente gaseoso no condensado se enfría aún más mediante un segundo condensador C2, C4 para formar un concentrado que tiene una temperatura inferior y una concentración de acetaldehído mayor. El acetaldehído se extrae eficientemente por medio de destilar el concentrado que tiene una alta concentración de acetaldehído.
