Abstract

La presente invención proporciona ensayos para detectar y medir la presencia o nivel de autoanticuerpos neutralizantes y no neutralizantes contra biológicos tales como terapéuticos de fármacos anti-TNF a en una muestra. La presente invención es útil para monitorear la formación de anticuerpos anti-fármaco neutralizantes y/o no neutralizantes en el tiempo mientras un sujeto está en terapia con biológicos. La presente invención también es útil para predecir y/o determinar la reactividad cruzada de anticuerpos anti-fármaco neutralizantes en la muestra de un sujeto con terapias biológicas alternativas. Así, la presente invención proporciona información para guiar las decisiones de tratamiento para aquellos sujetos que reciban terapia con un agente biológico y mejora la precisión de la optimización de la terapia, reduciendo la toxicidad, y/o monitoreando la eficacia del tratamiento terapéutico para terapia biológica.
