Abstract

Método para preparar un complejo que comprende un polipéptido fisiológicamente activo unido a través de enlaces covalentes a una región constante de una inmunoglobulina, por medio de un conector polimérico no peptídico, que está basado en el uso de un agente reductor y que es útil para solucionar los problemas habituales relacionados con el rendimiento bajo durante la producción y con la modificación de los polipéptidos. El complejo que comprende el polipéptido fisiológicamente activo, el polímero no peptídico y la región constante de la inmunoglobulina puede elaborarse con una pureza y un rendimiento elevados y con un costo bajo, por lo que el método resulta útil para aplicaciones industriales. Además, debido a su perfil de acción prolongada, los complejos que comprenden un polipéptido fisiológicamente activo, un polímero no peptídico y una región constante de una inmunoglobulina pueden utilizarse de manera eficaz en el desarrollo de formulaciones de acción prolongada que comprenden polipéptidos fisiológicamente activos, con las cuales puede mejorarse el cumplimento con el uso de las drogas.
