Abstract

La presente invención provee un método para purificar una proteína recombinante de una muestra de célula hospedera bacteriana gramnegativa o extracto de la misma en donde la célula hospedera expresa una proteína recombinante y una disulfuro isomerasa recombinante DsbC; que comprende: a. ajustar el pH de la muestra de célula hospedera o extracto de la misma a un pH de 5 o menos para precipitar la disulfuro isomerasa recombinante; y b. separar la disulfuro isomerasa recombinante precipitada DsbC de la proteína recombinante para producir una muestra de proteína recombinante.
