Abstract

Se describe una zeolita beta que contiene un metal libre, orgánico con una relación de sílice a alúmina (SAR) variando de 5 y 20, y un contenido de metal de al menos 0.5% en peso. También se describe un método para hacer dicha zeolita beta sin un agente de dirección de estructura orgánica (SDA). El metal, el cual puede comprender Fe o Cu, puede ser encontrado en cantidades que varían de 1 - 10% en peso. También se describe un método para la reducción catalítica selectiva de óxidos de nitrógeno en gases de escape utilizando la zeolita descrita.
