Abstract

Un absorbente-secador atomizador (308) es operativo para retirar contaminantes gaseosos de un gas de proceso caliente y comprende cuando menos dos dispersantes (314, 316, 318, 320, 321). Cada dispersante es operativo para dispersar una porción del gas de proceso caliente alrededor de un atomizador respectivo (24), y para suministrar la porción respectiva del gas de proceso caliente con un movimiento rotatorio alrededor del atomizador (24). Al menos un dispersante específico (314) es operativo para suministrar el gas de proceso caliente que pasa a través de ese dispersante específico (314) con un movimiento rotatorio en una dirección (FC), que es opuesta a la dirección (FCC) del movimiento rotatorio de la porción respectiva del gas de proceso caliente disperso por al menos otro dispersante (316) que está ubicado más cercano a ese dispersante específico (314).
