Abstract

PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA PRODUZIR FERRO-ESPONJA. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo e um aparelho para produzir ferro-esponja de material contendo óxido de ferro em forma de agregado através de redução direta em um eixo de redução (1) usando um gás redutor, em que todo o gás redutoré introduzido por meio de vários dutos de distribuição de gás redutor (2) em um arranjo semelhante a estrela ou dispostos paralelos uns aos outros, preferivelmente na quarta parte inferior do eixo de redução (1), e uniformemente distribuídos em toda seção transversal do eixo de redução.
