Abstract

Procedimiento y dispositivo para producir hierro esponjoso a partir de un material en trozos que contiene óxido de hierro mediante reducción directa en una cámara de reducción (1) con la utilización de un gas reductor, en el que mediante múltiples canales distribuidores de gas reductor (2), tipo estrella o dispuestos en paralelo entre sí, todo el gas reductor es introducido distribuido de forma uniforme en toda la sección transversal de la cámara de reducción y, preferentemente, en el cuarto inferior de la cámara de reducción (1).
