Abstract
La presente solicitud describe un proceso para la síntesis de una sucrosa-6-éster que comprende: (a) formar una primera mezcla de reacción que comprende sucrosa, un solvente aprótico polar, y un promotor de acilación basado en organoestaño; (b) eliminar el agua de la primera mezcla de reacción poniendo en contacto, de una manera a contracorriente continua, con gas o vapor solvente capaz de eliminar el agua a una temperatura, presión y tiempo de residencia suficientes producir una segunda mezcla de reacción que está sustancialmente libre de agua; seguido por (c) agregar un anhídrido carboxílico a la segunda mezcla de reacción para producir una tercera mezcla de reacción, y mantener la tercera mezcla de reacción a una temperatura y por un periodo de tiempo suficiente para producir un sucrosa-6-éster. El sucrosa-6-éster puede utilizarse para hacer al sucralosa.
