Abstract

"MéTODO APERFEIçOADO PARA A SìNTESE DE SACAROSE-6-éSTERES". Encontra-se descrito um processo para a síntese de um sacarose-6-éster compreendendo: a) reagir uma mistura compreendendo sacarose e um solvente polar aprótico com um promotor de acilação à base de organoestanho, ao mesmo tempo em que se adiciona um solvente capaz de remover a água por co-destilação, e remover a água por co-destilação para dar um primeira mistura reacional que é substancialmente isenta de água, seguido de (b) adicionar um anidrido carboxílico à referida primeira mistura reacional para dar uma segunda mistura reacional, e manter a referida segunda mistura reacional a uma temperatura e por um período de tempo suficientes para produzir um sacarose-6-éster, caracterizado pelo fato de a etapa (a) ser realizada a uma temperatura de 85 a 125<198>C e a uma pressão de 20 a 80 kPa. Na modalidade mais preferida, o solvente polar aprótico é DMF, o solvente capaz de remover água por co-destilação é ciclohexano, o promotor de acilação à base de organoestanho é um 1,3-diacilóxi-1,1,3,3-tetrabutildiestanoxano, e a etapa (a) é realizada a aproximadamente 97<198>C e aproximadamente 50 kPa, até que a razão em peso de estanho para água na primeira mistura reacional seja maior que cerca de 26, quando o teor de estanho é medido usando-se um analisador de fluorescência de raios-X, e o teor de água pode ser medido pelo método de Karl-Fischer.
