Abstract
Un sistema de encendido accionado por inducción con un electrodo que se proyecta en la cámara de combustión de un motor de combustión interna recíproco. El electrodo es adyacente a pero está eléctricamente aislado de un conductor eléctrico que recibe corriente en frecuencias entre 100 a 400 kHz. También se proporciona aislante térmico entre el electrodo y la estructura adyacente de la cabeza. El sistema de encendido accionado pro inducción provoca que los electrodos se calienten de manera rápida y exacta a temperaturas muy altas.
