Abstract

La invención se refiere a un dispositivo de absorción de energía que se puede arreglar para adsorber energía por deformación entre una estructura de soporte de un vehículo y un parachoques, el dispositivo de absorción de energía que lleva un perfil principal deformable que tiene una sección transversal de tipo carrocería hueca. El objetivo de la invención es mejorar un dispositivo de absorción de energía del tipo antes mencionado de tal manera que la energía se pueda soportar bien aún si las fuerzas producidas por un accidente impactan el dispositivo de absorción de energía en un ángulo.
