Abstract
Se describe un proceso para someter a resolución un compuesto en forma racémica que comprende las siguientes etapas: a) hacer reaccionar un compuesto en forma racémica con un agente de resolución, b) formar un complejo diastereoisomérico del agente re resolución y un enantiómero de interés, c) separar el enantiómero de interés del diastereoisómero obtenido, en donde tal proceso se caracteriza porque el agente de resolución es un compuesto de fórmula (I). También se describe un complejo diastereoisomérico entre el agente de resolución de fórmula (I) y el enantiómero de interés. El proceso de acuerdo a la invención permite que se separen las mezclas racémicas ácidas y básicas.
