Abstract
Un sensor (36) detecta la posición axial de una varilla que controla una pinza de atrape de herramienta (24) en un husillo de sujeción de herramienta (10) siempre que una herramienta (20) es recogida durante una sesión de trabajo; el valor actual de la posición de varilla obtenido (Pc) se copara con el valor previo de la posición de varilla (Pm), el cual se ha obtenido y almacenado durante el recogimiento de herramienta previo y, si su desviación es más grande que un umbral predeterminado (S), el cierre de la pinza se notifica como defectuoso; la posición de la varilla se obtiene como un promedio de una pluralidad de lecturas estrechamente separadas, las cuales se toman después de un retraso predeterminado del cierre de la pinza.
