Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para manufacturar cuerpos sin costura para llantas neumáticas, comprendiendo las etapas de: (a) extruir, a partir de cuando menos una composición de hule R1, una estructura tubular y hueca, sin costura, reforzada con filamento, teniendo área de espesor de pared variable a lo largo de la longitud de la estructura extruida reforzada con filamento, teniendo dicha estructura cuando menos una capa R-I con refuerzo de filamento en la misma, y estando tales filamentos substancialmente paralelos al eje principal de la estructura tubular; (b) seccionar la estructura tubular, en un plano substancialmente perpendicular a su eje principal, para formar un componente de cuerpo tubular y hueco; (c) formar separadamente de la estructura tubular un par de tiras hechas de al menos una capa de hule, sirviendo dichas tiras para formar tiras de goma de abrasión combinadas y piezas de pared lateral suplementarias y colocando el par de tiras en el tambor de construcción de llantas; (d) colocar el citado componente tubular, concéntricamente sobre un tambor de construcción de llantas equipado con bolsas volteadoras de conformación y medios de expansión sobre el par de tiras; (e) colocar dos ensambles de cejas, compuestos de alambres de cejas y rellenos de cejas, encima del componente tubular ya colocado; (f) voltear ambos extremos del componente tubular con dicha bolsas de conformación, de manera de envolver los ensambles de ceja con una porción del componente tubular, en cada uno de sus extremos; y (g) expander el centro del componente tubular volteado, de manera de formar un cuerpo de llanta neumática conformado toroidalmente, teniendo una capa de cuerpo y paredes laterales, formadas a partir de la estructura extruida.
