Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para la purificación de un electrólito de sulfato de zinc, que contiene concentraciones de cationes monovalentes que incluyen al menos un catión seleccionado del grupo que consta del talio, sodio y potasio y aniones monovalentes que incluyen al menos un anión seleccionado del grupo que consta del cloruro y el fluoruro, por medio de la electrodiálisis, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de alimentar un electrólito de sulfato de zinc a las celdas de diluato de una unidad de electrodiálisis, la cual incluye una multiplicidad de membranas de intercambio permeoselectivas de cationes monovalentes.
