Abstract
"UNIDADE DE ELETRODEIONIZAçãO PARA DEIONIZAçãO DE áGUA, E, PROCESSO DE DEIONIZAçãO DE áGUA" A invenção proporciona um processo e um aparelho para a eletrodeionização da água, por meio da qual a água a ser purificada é passada através de compartimentos de diluição em uma unidade de eletrodeionização possuindo um compartimento de anodo em uma extremidade da unidade e um compartimento de catodo em outra extremidade da unidade, e uma pluralidade de compartimentos de diluição alternando com compartimentos de concentração definidos por membranas de troca aniónica e catiónica. Cada um dos compartimentos de diluição contém material de troca iónica. O importante é que, o material de troca iónica compreende pelo menos uma fase de leito misto de material de troca aniónica e material de troca catiónica e pelo menos uma única fase, adjacente à fase de leito misto, de material de troca aniónica ou de material de troca catiónica, ou de material de troca aniónica e material de troca catiónica.
