Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la separación de fluoruro de hidrógeno (HF), 2,2-dicloro-1, 1,1,trofluoroetano /FC-123), y/o cloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroetano (FC-124), de una mezcla inicial que comprende HF, fc-123 y/o FC-124, caracterizado porque comprende i) asegurar que la porción molar de HF/FC-123 en la mezcla inicial sea inferior o igual a 1.3/1, ii) pasar la mezcla de (i) a través de una columna de destilación, para formar una mezcla de azeotropos con bajo punto de ebullición que sustancialmente comprende todo el HF y todo fc-124 en la mezcla inicial iii) retirar la mezcla de azeótropos con bajo punto de ebullición (ii) de la parte superior de la columna de destilación, mientras que el fondo de la columna de destilación se mantiene a temperatura y presión suficientes.
