Abstract
수성 피복 조성물 및 금속 기질의 피복 방법이 제공된다. 특히, 본 발명의 조성물 및 방법은 캔의 몸체 및 캔의 상하단부를 피복하거나 캔의 측면 봉합선을 피복하는데 적합하다. 본 발명의 피목 조성물은 용매 성분 및 막 형성 성분을 포함한다. 용매 성분으로는 물과 유기용매가 포함된다. 막 형성 성분으로서는 삼급 아민 촉매의 존재하에서 카르복시 부가 중합체와 에폭시 수지의 반응 산물과 경화제가 포함된다.

Claims (24)
- 물 약 70 내지 약 97중량%(용매 성분의 총 중량 기준) 및 유기 용매 약 3중량% 이상(용매 성분의 총중량 기준)를 포하한 용매 성분 약 50중량% 이상(피복 조성물의 총 중량 기준); 및 A) 약 165 이상의 산수 및 약 110℃ 이하의 유리 전이 온도를 갖는 카르복시 부가 중합체 약 7중량% 이상(필름 형성 성분의 총 중량 기준), B) 에폭시 수지 약 40중량% 이상(필름 형성 성분의 총 중량 기준) 및 C) 아미노플라스트 수지 또는 페노플라스트 수지를 포함한 경화제 약 2중량% 이상 (필름 형성 성분의 총 중량 기준)을 포함한 필름 형성 성분 약 30중량% 이상(피복 조성물의 총 중량 기준)을 포함하고, 상기된 카르복시 부가 중합체와 에폭시 수지가 카르복시 부가 중합체에 존재하는 카르복시 그룹의 당량당 약 0.35 내지 약 1.0 당량의 삼급 아민의 존재하에서 반응하여 형성된 수성 피복 조성물.
- 물과 유기 용매를 포함한 용매 성분; 및 A) 약 165 이상의 산수 및 약 110℃ 이하의 유리 전이 온도를 갖는 카르복시 부가 중합체와 에폭시 수지를 삼급 아민의 존재하에서 반응시켜 형성된 산물과 B) 페노플라스트 수지를 포함한 필름 형성 성분을 포함하고, 상기의 필름 형성 성분이 이의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여 약 7중량%이상의 카르복시 부가 중합체, 약 40중량% 이상의 에폭시 수지 및 약 2중량% 이상의 페노플라스트 수지를 포함하는 수성 피복 조성물.
- A) 약 110℃이하의 유리 전이 온도를 갖는 카르복시 부가 중합체와 에폭시 수지를 삼급 아민의 존재하에서 반응시켜 형성된 산물 및 B) 약 100℃ 이하의 융점을 갖는 페노플라스트 수지를 포함한 필름 형성 성분을 포함하는 수성 피복 조성물.
- 제3항에 있어서, 물과 유기 용매를 포함한 용매 성분을 추가로 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 카르복시 부가 중합체가 하나 이상의 에틸렌성 불포화 카르복실산과 하나 이상의 공중합성 비이온성 단량체의 공중합체인 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 카르복시 부가 중합체가 아크릴산, 스티렌과 에틸 아크릴레이트의 공중합체 또는 메타크릴산, 스티렌과 에틸 아크릴레이트의 공중합체인 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 카르복시 부가 중합체가 약 200 내지 약 350의 산수를 가진 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 카르복시 부가 중합체가 약 50 내지 약 100℃의 유리 전이 온도를 가진 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 카르복시 부가 중합체가 약 2000 내지 약 25000의 평균 분자량을 가진 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 피복 조성물이 약 13 내지 약 100초(80°F에서 #4 포드 컵)의 점도를 가진 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 유기 용매가 알칸올, 모노알킬 글리콜 또는 디에틸렌 글리콜 모노알킬 에테르를 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 페놀플라스트 수지가 알킬화된 페놀 포름알데히드 수지 또는 비스페놀 A-포름알데하이드 수지를 포함하는 조성물.
- 제12항에 있어서, 페놀플라스트 수지가 약 100℃ 이상의 융점을 갖는 알킬화된 페놀 포름알데하이드 수지를 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 에폭시 수지가 비스페놀 A의 글리시딜 폴리에테르를 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 에폭시 수지가 약 1000 내지 약 10000의 에폭시드 당량을 가진 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 윤활제를 추가로 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 수성 피복 조성물이 수성 분산액인 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 삼급 아민이 두 개 이상의 메틸 그룹을 포함하는 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 소수성 부가 중합체를 추가로 포함하는 조성물.
- 제19항에 있어서, 소수성 부가 중합체가 약 100℃ 이하의 유리 전이 온도를 갖는 조성물.
- 제19항에 있어서, 소수성 부가 중합체가 약 50000 이상의 중량 평균분자량을 가진 조성물.
- a) 제1항 내지 21항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 수성 피복 조성물을 금속 기질의 한쪽 이상의 표면상에 적용하여 금속 표면에 피복층을 형성하고, b) 피복된 금속 기질을 열처리하여 피복층을 경화시켜 기질표면에 접착된 실질적으로 연속적인 경화막(여기서, 경화막의 두께는 약 5mg/in2이상이고 실질적으로 발생된 블리스터가 없다)을 형성함을 포함하는, 금속 기질의 피복 방법.
- 제22항에 있어서, 피복된 금속 기질을 약 230 내지 약 300℃의 온도로 약 2 내지 약 20초간 열처리하는 방법.
- (i) 제1항 내지 21항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 수성 피복 조성물로 금속 기질 표면을 피복하고 (ii) 피복된 금속 기질을 약 230 내지 약 300℃의 온도로 약 2 내지 약 20초간 열처리하여 형성된 약 5 내지 9mg/in의 두께를 가진 경화막으로 적어도 한쪽 표면이 덮인 금속 기질을 포함한 복합재.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
