Abstract

본 발명은 아크릴 및 비닐 개질 알키드 수지 에멀젼을 기재로 하는 수회석성 공기 건조 니스 결합제를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 결합제는 특정 (메트)아크릴레이트 단량체를 통해서 도입된 폴리옥시알킬렌 그룹을 함유하고, “보조 용매”를 사용하지 않고도 광택이 우수한 니스 피복용 결합제로서 매우 적합하다.

Claims (3)

  1. A) 불포화 지방산(a1) 25 내지 50중량%, 메트아크릴산(a2) 10 내지 25중량%, 폴리옥시알킬렌 그룹을 함유하는 (메트)아크릴레이트 단량체(a3) 1 내지 15중량% 및 C-C 이중 결합 이외에는 어떠한 작용 그룹도 함유하지 않는 기타의 (메트)아크릴레이트 및/또는 비닐 단량체(a4) 25 내지 50중량%를 함유하는 단량체 혼합물을 95중량% 이상이 전환되도록 유리 라디칼 개시제의 존재하에 중합시키고, B) 추가의 반응 단계에서 공중합체(A) (b1) 33 내지 44중량%, 불포화 지방산(b2) 20 내지 42중량%, 2 내지 6개의 하이드록실 그룹을 갖는 폴리알콜(b3) 10 내지 25중량%, 방향족 및/또는 지방족 디카복실산(b4) 10 내지 20중량% 및 사이클릭 및/또는 폴리사이클릭 카복실산(b5) 0 내지 15중량%를 반응시켜, 개질된 알키드 수지(B)[이는, 고체 함량을 기준으로 하여, 불포화 지방산의 함량이 30 내지 70중량%, 바람직하게는 40 내지 60중량%이고 고유점도가 8 내지 15㎖/g(클로로포름, 20℃) 이며 산가가 g당 KOH 25 내지 70mg고 상응하는 카복실 그룹의 80% 이상이 공중합체(A)의 메트아크릴산 단위로부터 유도된다]를 형성시키고 이렇게 수득한 개질된 알키드 수지(B)를 유기 용매를 사용하지 않고 물 속에서 유화시킴(각각의 경우, 성분(a1) 내지 성분(a4)의 % 합과 성분(b1) 내지 성분(a5)의 % 합은 각각 반드시 100이어야 하며, 단 단계(B)에서 성분(b2) 내지 성분(b5)는 투명한 용융물이 되고 산가가 g당 KOH 3 내지 30mg에 이를 때가지 예비에스테르화된다)을 특징으로 하여 아크릴 개질되고 비닐 개질된 알키드 수지 에멀젼을 기재로 하는 수희석성 공기 건조 도료 결합제를 제조하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 성분(a3)이 3개 이상의 옥시알킬렌 그룹을 함유하고 화학식 CH2=CHR1-CO-O-(CH2-CHR1-O)n-R2에 상응하는 (메트)아크릴레이트 단량체(여기서, R1은 H 또는 CH3이고 R2는 H, CH3또는 C2H5이며 n은 3 내지 45이다)로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 100℃ 이하의 온도에서 산화적으로 건조되는 수희석성 도료 재료의 제형에 있어서의 제1항 및 제2항에 따라서 제조된 도료 결합제의 용도.
