Abstract

본 발명은 종래의 라인 인버전 방식의 티에프티 엘시디 디스플레이 판넬 구동방법이 가진 깜박임 현상을 해소하기 위하여, TFT의 게이트-소오스 전압 Vgs를 포지티브 필드와 네거티브 필드에서 거의 일치하도록 하려는 것이며, 게이트 로우 레벨 전압을 포지티브 필드와 네거티브 필드에서 각기 다르게 하여 공급하는 방법이다. 즉 포지티브 필드에서의 게이트 로우 레벨 전압과 네거티브 필드에서의 게이트 로우 레벨을 서로 다르게 하는데, 그 크기는 대략 공통 전압의 하이 레벨과 로우 레벨의 차이만큼 차이가 나도록 하여 구동하는 것이다.

티에프티 엘시디 디스플레이의 구동방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도의 (가)와 (나)는 TFT LCD 패널의 하나의 픽셀에 대한 등가 회로도이다, 제2도는 TFT LCD 패널을 구동하는 라인 인버전 방식의 게이트 구동 펄스의 파형과 타이밍 도이다, 제3도는 TFT LCD 패널을 구동하는 플로팅 게이트 방식의 게이트 구동 펄스의 파형과 타이밍 도이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 라인 인버전 방식의 티에프티 엘시디 디스플레이의 구동방법으로서, 포지티브 필드에서의 게이트 로우 레벨 전압과 네거티브 필드에서의 게이트 로우 레벨을 서로 다르게 하여 게이트 라인을 구동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 티에프티 엘시디 디스플레이의 구동방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 포지티브 필드에서의 게이트 로우 레벨 전압과 네거티브 필드에서의 게이트 로우 레벨을 대략 공통 전압의 하이 레벨과 로우 레벨의 차이만큼 차이가 나도록 하여 구동하는 것이 특징인 라인 인버전 방식의 티에프티 엘시디 디스플레이의 구동방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 포지티브 필드에서의 게이트 로우 레벨 전압과 네거티브 필드에서의 게이트 로우 레벨을 서로 다르게 하여 구동하되, 그 레벨의 차이를 조절할 수 있도록 하여 구동하는 것이 특징인 라인 인버전 방식의 티에프티 엘시디 디스플레이의 구동방법.
