Abstract

자동차형 관형 열교환기는 헤더 플레이트(10)와, 헤더 플레이트에 납땜된 헤더 커버(38)를 포함한 헤더를 구비하고 있다. 헤더 플레이트는 열교환기의 튜브 번들(28)에 결합되도록 설치된 기부(12)와, 헤더 플레이트의 기부(12)를 둘러싸는 헤더 플레이트의 외주연 플랜지(14) 내에 결합된 외주연 에지부(36)에 의해 종단된다. 상기 기부에는 외주연 플랜지(14)에 근접하여 멀리 이격된 다수의 압축성형 돌출 요소(32)가 제공되어 있으며, 헤더 커버의 외주연 에지부(36)는 에지부(36)가 헤더 플레이트 플랜지(14)에 납땜되도록 납땜하기 전에 이러한 돌출 요소에 의해 헤더 플레이트 플랜지(14)와 접촉하여 유지된다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 열교환기용 헤더 플레이트로서, 헤더 플레이트가 헤더 조립되기 전의 부분 평면도.
제2도는 제1도의 Ⅱ-Ⅱ선의 부분단면도.
제3도는 제1도의 Ⅱ-Ⅱ선의 단면도로서, 헤더 플레이트가 헤더 커버 및 튜브 번들과 조립된 후의 단면도.
제4도는 제3도의 상세도.
제5도는 제3도와 유사하지만, 본 발명에 따른 헤더의 다른 실시예의 도면.
제6도는 제4도와 유사하지만,제 5도에 도시된 것과 동일한 실시예에 대한 도면.

Claims (9)

  1. 튜브 번들(28)에 고정되기에 적합한 기부(12)를 구비한 헤더 플레이트(10)와, 함께 납땜될 수 있도록 헤더 플레이트(10)의 외주연 플랜지(14)에 결합시키기 위해 외주연 에지부(36)에 의해 종단되는 헤더 커버(38)를 포함하는 형태의 열교환기에 있어서, 상기 기부(12)는 헤더 커버(38)의 외주연 에지 부분(36)이 헤더 플레이트(10)의 외주연 플랜지(14)와 접촉하여 유지되도록 함께 납땜하여 외주연 플랜지(14)에 근접하여 멀리 이격된 다수의 압축성형 돌출 요소(32,34)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 각 압축성형 돌출 요소(34)는 헤더 플레이트(10)의 외주연 플랜지(14)에 실제로 평행한 방향으로 연장하는 적어도 하나의 모면(G)을 규정하며, 상기모면(G)은 헤더 커버(38)의 외주연 에지 부분(36)의 두께와 거의 동일한(두께보다 작지는 않음) 거리(d)에 놓여 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 각 압축성형 돌출 요소(34)는 평행한 모면(G)을 구비한 대체로 원형이고 원통형의 페그형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 각 압축성형 돌출요소(32)는 돔 형태로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 헤더 플레이트(10)의 기부(12)는 다수의 구멍(24)을 구비하며, 각 구멍은 튜브(28)의 단부(26)를 수납하기 위한 내부 비드(30)에 의해 둘러싸이며, 각 돌출 요소(32,34)는 두개의 인접한 내부 비드(30) 사이에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 헤더 플레이트(10)의 기부(12)는 외부 비드(31)를 구비하며, 각 비드는 두개의 인접한 내부 비드(30) 사이에 배치되며, 돌출 요소(32,34)의 각각은 외부 비드(31)의 축에 놓여 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
  7. 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 헤더 플레이트(10)의 외주연 플랜지(14)는 대체로 장방형 형태로서 두개의 종방향 측면(16)과, 두개의 횡단 측면(18)을 구비하며 ; 상기 돌출 요소(32,34)는 종방향 측면(16)에 근접하여 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 헤더 플레이트(10)의 외주연 플랜지(14)는 헤더 플레이트(10) 및 헤더 커버(38)를 함께 납땜하여 순간적으로 함께 유지하기 위해 헤더 커버(38)에 대해 국부적으로 접합된 단부(46)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항 중에서 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 헤더 플레이트(10)및 헤더 커버(38)는 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 열교환기.
