Abstract

본 발명은 액정표시장치의 구조에 관한 것으로, 신호라인들이 교차하는 (crossover) 부분아래에 있는 신호라인 부분에 돌출부를 형성하여 신호라인의 단선을 방지하고자 한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 액정표시장치의 구조는 기판상에 일방향으로 형성되는 제1신호라인과, 상기 제1신호라인과 절연되고 제1신호라인과 교차되도록 적층되는 제2신호라인을 구비한 액정표시장치에 있어서, 상기 제1신호라인은 상기 교차되는 부분에서 돌충부를 갖고 형성된 것이다.

제5도는 제4도의 "C"부인 게이트 라인과 데이타 라인의 교차하는 (crossover) 부분의 확대도.

Claims (4)

  1. 기판상에 일방향으로 형성되는 제1신호라인과, 상기 제1신호라인과 절연되고 제1신호라인과 교차되도록 적층되는 제2신호라인을 구비한 액정표시장치에 있어서, 상기 제1신호라인은 상기 교차되는 부분에서 돌출부를 갖고 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구조.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 돌출부가 다수개 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구조.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 돌출부는 제1 및 제2신호라인이 교차되는 부분중 제2신호라인 폭내에 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구조.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 돌출부는 제1 및 제2신호라인이 교차되는 부분중 제1신호라인이 제2신호라인의 모서리부분에 걸쳐 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 구조.
