고강도 고경도이고 신뢰성이 우수한 질화규소질 소결체를 제공한다.
(해결수단)
Mg성분을 MgO환산으로 0.5~3중량%, Yb성분을 Yb2O3환산으로 3~10중량% 함유하고, 질화규소 또는 사이알론을 주성분 주결정상으로 하는 것으로, 제2결정상으로서 Yb2Si3N4O3, Yb2Si3N2O5및 Yb2Si2N2O7중 1종이상을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 전체에 대하여 20~50체적%의 침상결정이 질화규소 또는 사이알론으로 함유한다.

제1도는 실시예인 질화규소질(窒化硅宵質)소결체로 구성되는 블랭킹(blanking)형을 이용하여 판자를 블랭킹하는 방법을 설명하는 단면도.

Claims (4)

  1. Mg성분을 MgO 환산으로 0.5~3중량%, Yb성분을 Yb2O3환산으로 3~10중량% 함유하고, 주결정상으로서 질화규소 또는 사이알론을 주성분으로 하는 것으로, 제2결정상으로서 Yb2Si3N4O3, Yb2Si3N2O5및 Yb2Si2N2O7중 1종이상을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 질화규소 또는 사이알론이, 단경 0.01~0.3㎛이고 아스펙트비 15이상의 침상입자를 함유하고, 상기 제2결정상 대 질화규소 또는 사이알론의 X선 회절강도비가 5/10000~1/10이고, 상기 침상입자로 구성되는 질화규소 또는 사이알론이 전체에 대하여 20~50체적%인 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, JIS R1601에 준거하는 실온에서의 3점 굽힘강도가 1500MPa이상, 와이불계수가 20 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체.
  4. 청구항 1에 기재된 질화규소질 소결체의 제조방법으로서, 중량기준으로 MgO환산으로 0.5~3중량%의 Mg화합물, Yb2O3환산으로 3~10중량%의 Yb화합물 및 질화규소 또는 사이알론잔부의 조성이 되도록 원료를 혼합하여 성형하고, 1300~1550℃에서 소성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 질화규소질 소결체의 제조방법.
