Abstract

본 발명은 신경세포등의 활동에 따른 전위변화를 검출함으로써, 세포활동을 측정하기 위한 2차원센서와 이것을 사용한 측정장치에 관한 것으로서, 측정전극의 위치나 크기를 가변으로 함으로써, 범용성이 풍부한 세포활동측정용 2차원센서 및 이것을 사용한 측정장치를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한것이며, 그 구성에 있어서, Si, SiO2및 Si3N4의 3층으로 이루어진 센서기판의 Si쪽의 이면에 작용전극용 박만(1a)이 증착되고, Si3N4쪽의 표면에 시료인 세포, 배양액 및 참조전극을 넣는 울타리(1b)가 형성된 2차원센서(1)가 인큐베이터(3)내에 세트되고, 참조전극과 작용전극과의 사이에 바이어스전압이 인가된다. 2차원센서(1)의 이면으로부터 고주파변조된 레이저빔이 조사되고, 조사개소의 세포활동에 의한 전위변화의 신호가 광교류전류로서 꺼내지고 증폭기(9)를 개재해서 컴퓨터(10)에 입력되는 것을 특징으로 한 것이다.

제1도는 본 발명의 실시예에 관한 세포활동측정장치의 구성도.

Claims (7)

  1. Si, SiO2, 및 Si3N4의 3층으로 이루어진 센서기판 Si쪽의 이면에 작용전극용 박막이 증착되고, Si3N4쪽의 표면에 시료인 세포, 배양액, 및 참조전극을 넣는 울타리가 형성되고, 그 울타리의 내부에 놓인 세포의 활동에 의해서 발생하는 전위변화의 평면분포증, 광이 조사된 부분의 전위변화에 주로 대응하는 신호가 상기 작용전극으로부터 꺼내지는 것을 특징으로 하는 세포활동측정용 2차원센서.
  2. 청구범위 제1항에 기재된 세포활동측정용 2차원센서와, 그 이면에 레이저빔을 조사하는 레이저광원과, 상기 세포활동측정용 2차원센서의 이면쪽의 작용전극과 표면쪽의 울타리내에 넣어진 참조전극과의 사이에 직류바이어스전압을 인가하는 직류전원과, 상기 양전극간에 얻어지는 신호를 처리하는 처리수단을 구비하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 세포활동측정장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 세포활동측정용 2차원센서의 울타리내에 놓인 세포의 배양환경을 유지하는 배양유지수단이 구비되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 세포활동측정장치.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 레이저광원을 고주파구동해서 고주파변조광을 조사시키는 광원구동수단이 설치되고, 상기 처리수단은, 상기 양전극간에 흐르는 광교류전류의 진폭의 변화를 검출하도록 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 세포활동측정장치.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 레이저광원으로부터 조사되는 레이저빔을 상기 세포활동측정용 2차원센서의 이면의 소정범위내에서 주사하는 수단이 구비되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 세포활동측정장치.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 레이저광원으로서, 상기 세포활동측정용 2차원센서의 이면에 대해서 거의 수직으로 레이저광을 조사하는 복수의 레이저가 2차원매트릭스형상으로 배열되어 이루어진 레이저 어레이가 구비되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 세포활동측정장치.
  7. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 세포활동측정용 2차원센서의 수평방향에 있어서의 위치를 제어하는 XY스테이지가 구비되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 세포활동측정장치.
