Abstract

본 발명에 따른 복수 빔 레이저 신터링 장치는 분말판(68)에 초점을 갖는 신터링 빔(64)과 포커싱된 빔(64)의 초점 근방의 영역으로 입사하는 적어도 하나의 디포커싱된 레이저 빔(116)을 포함한다. 이 신터링 빔(64)은 분말의 온도(84)를 신터링 온도까지 상승시킨다. 디포커싱된 빔(116)은 신터링 빔(64)을 둘러싸는 재료의 온도를 신터링 온도 아래의 레벨까지 상승시키므로써, 신터링 지점과 주위 재료 사이의 온도 변화도를 감소시킨다. 열 복사는 하나 또는 양 빔으로부터 측정되어 하나 또는 양 빔의 파워를 제어하는데 사용될 수도 있으며, 하나 또는 양 빔의 파워는 온도를 바람직한 레벨로 유지하도록 제어될 수도 있다. 대안적으로, 다수의 디포커싱된 빔의 다수의 열 변화 단계를 제공하거나 또는 신터링 지점 주위의 각 영역의 온도를 독립적으로 제어하는데 사용될 수도 있다.

Claims (31)

  1. 신터링 지점에서 분말의 표면상으로 입사하는 신터링 레이저 빔과; 상기 신터링 위치 근방의 디포커싱된 영역으로 입사하는 적어도 하나의 디포커싱된 빔을 포함하며, 상기 디포커싱된 빔은 상기 신터링 위치와 주위분말 사이에 사전결정된 온도 변화도를 제공하는 레지저 신터링 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신터링 위치 근방의 검출점에서 상기 분말의 온도를 검출하기 위한 검출 수단을 더 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 검출수단으로부터의 검출신호에 응답하여, 상기 신터링 레이저 빔의 파워를 제어하기 위한 레이저 제어 수단을 더 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 레이저 제어 수단이 상기 온도를 사실상 일정한 수준으로 유지하기 위하여 상기 레이저 빔의 파워를 제어하는 수단을 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디포커싱된 영역 근방의 검출점에서 상기 분말의 온도를 검출하기 위한 검출수단을 더 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 검출 수단은 상기 신터링 위치 주위의 다수의 검출점에서 상기 분말의 온도를 검출하는 수단을 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 검출 수단으로부터의 검출 신호에 응답하여, 상기 디포커싱 레이저 빔의 파워를 제어하기 위한 레이저 제어 수단을 더 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 검출 수단은 상기 파워로부터 복사 열 방출을 검출하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 복사된 열 방출을 상기 검출수단으로 향하게 하는 광학 수단을 더 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  10. 제4항에 있어서: 상기 분말을 가로질러 상기 레이저 빔을 주사하기 위한 수단과; 상기 복사된 열 방출을 주사 수단을 통해 상기 검출 수단으로 향하게 하는 광학 수단을 더 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 레이저 제어 수단은 상기 검출 수단에 응답하여, 상기 신터링 빔의 바람직한 파워를 표시하는 파워 제어 신호를 제공하기 위한 신호 처리수단을 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 레이저 제어 수단은 상기 파워 제어 신호에 응답하여, 상기 신터링 빔의 파워를 제어하기 위한 변조수단을 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 레이저 제어 수단은 상기 검출 수단에 응답하여, 상기 디포커싱된 빔 바람직한 파워를 표시하는 파워 제어 신호를 제공하기 위한 신호 처리 수단을 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 레이저 제어 수단은, 상기 파워 제어 신호에 응답하여, 상기 디포커싱된 빔 파워를 제어하기 위한 변조 수단을 포함하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  15. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디포커싱된 빔은 상기 분말의 표면에서 상기 신터링 빔과 오버랩되는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  16. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디포커싱된 빔은 상기 분말의 표면에서 상기 신터링 빔과 오버랩되지 않는 레이저 신터링 장치.
  17. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신터링 빔은 상기 분말에 입사되기 전에 사전결정된 거리 동안 상기 디포커싱된 빔내로 전파하는 레이저 신터링 장치.
