Abstract

포유 동물에서 신경 세포의 성장을 유도하고, 신경 결함을 치료하는 방법 및 장치에 개시되어 있다. 당해 방법은 상기 포유 동물의 신경 결함, 손상 또는 상실 부위에, 약학적으로 허용 가능한 부형제와 혼합하거나 적당한 매트릭스에 흡착된 상태로, 유효량의 골 형태발생 단백질을 투여함을 특징으로 한다. 당해 장치는 임의로 다른 인자들과 조합하여, 적당한 매트릭스 상에 흡착되고 인공 신경 대체관(vessel) 내에 함유된 상태인 골 형태발생 단백질을 포함한다.

Claims (21)

  1. 골 형태발생 단백질 및 적합한 매트릭스 담체를 함유하는 조성물을 포함한 인공 신경 대체관으로 이루어진 신경 대체 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 골 형태발생 단백질을 BMP-2, BMP-4, BMP-5, BMP-6, BMP-7, 및 BMP-2/6과 BMP-2/7의 헤테로이합체들로 구성된 군으로부터 선택하는 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 골 형태발생 단백질을 BMP-2, BMP-4, BMP-2/6 헤테로이합체 및 BMP-2/7 헤테로이합체로 구성된 군으로부터 선택하는 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 매트릭스가 콜라겐, 피브린 조직 접착제, 라미닌, 히알라우론산 및 콘드로이틴 술페이트프로테오글리칸으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 적합한 물질을 함유하는 장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 매트릭스가 콜라캔을 함유하는 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 콜라겐이 스폰지 형태인 장치.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 인공 신경 대체관이 공구 실라스틱 튜빙(vented silastic tubing)을 함유하는 장치.
  8. 포유 동물의 신경 손상 또는 신경 결함 부위에 유효량의 골 형태발생 단백질을 약학적으로 허용가능한 부형제와 혼합하여 투여함을 특징으로 하는, 포유 동물에서 신경 세포의 성장을 유도하는 방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 골 형태발생 단백질을 BMP-2, BMP-4, BMD-5, BMD-6, BMD-7, 및 BMP-2/6 과 BMP-2/7 헤테로이합체들로 구성된 군으로부터 선택하는 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 골 형태발생 단백질을 BMP-2, BMP-4, BMP-2/6 헤테로이합체 및 BMP-2/7 헤테로이합체로 구성된 군으로부터 선택하는 방법.
  11. 제8항에 있어서, 골 형태발생 단백질이 적합한 매트릭스에 흡착되는 방법.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 매트릭스가 인공 신경 대체관 내에 함유되는 방법.
  13. 포유 동물의 신경 손상 또는 신경 결함 부위에 신경 재생량의 골 형태발생 단백질을 적합한 매트릭스와 혼합하여 투여함을 특징으로 하는, 신경 결함, 신경 손상 또는 신경 상태를 갖는 포유 동물의 치료 방법.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 골 형태발생 단백질을 BMP-2, BMP-4, BMP-5, BMP-6, BMP-7, 및 BMP-2/6과 BMP-2/7의 헤테로이합체들로 구성된 군으로부터 선택하는 방법.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 골 형태발생 단백질을 BMP-2, BMP-4, BMP-2/6 헤테로이합체 및 BMP-2/7 헤테로이합체로 구성된 군으로부터 선택하는 방법.
  16. 제13항에 있어서, 매트릭스가 콜라겐, 피브린 조직 접착제, 라미닌, 히알라우론산 및 콘드로이틴 술페이트 프로테오글리칸으로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 적합한 물질을 함유하는 방법.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 매트릭스가 콜라겐을 함유하는 방법.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, 콜라겐이 스폰지 형태인 방법.
  19. 제16항에 있어서, 매트릭스를 인공 신경 대체관에 적용하는 방법.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 인경 신경 대체관이 튜빙, 스텐트 또는 자가 정맥 그라프트 형태인 방법.
  21. 포유 동물의 신경 손상 또는 신경 결함 부위에 신경 재생량의 재조합 인간 골 형태발생 단백질을 약학적으로 허용가능한 부형제와 혼합하여 투여함을 특징으로 하는, 신경 손상 또는 신경 결함을 갖는 포유 동물의 치료 방법.
