Abstract

본 발명은 다양한 전기통신망에서 통신을 위해 의도된 다중망 단말기를 사용하여 다수의 서로 다른 전기통신망을 포함하는 환경에서 전기통신을 위한 다중망 통신방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 다중망 단말기(25) 스스로 액세스하는 전기 통신망을 선택하는 것이 특징이다. 사전 설정된 결정규범을 기초로 다중망 단말기는 스스로 어느 액세스 가능한 전기통신망 통신이 이루어져야 하는가를 결정한다. 본 발명은 또한 선택된 전기통신망에서 통신장치(30,31)의 활성화를 위해 제어 유니트로 제어되는 망전환수단과 제어 유니트(32)를 가지는 다중망 단말기에 관한 것이다.

Claims (12)

  1. 서로 다른 전기통신망에서 통신을 위해 단말기가 액세스되는 전기통신망을 스스로 검지하는 다중망 단말기를 사용하는 거로 다른 다수의 전기 통신망(14,21; 21,45; 60,63)을 포함하는 환경에서 전기통신을 위한 다중망 통신 방법에 있어서, 다중망 단말기는 사전 설정된 결정규범을 기초로 어느 액세스 가능한 전기통신망 통신이 발생되어야 하는가를 스스로 결정하고 다중망 단말기(1; 25; 61)는 다중망 단말기에 의해 선택된 망과는 별도로 한 전기통신망에서 선택된 전기통신망으로 필수적인 접속의 전환을 스스로 실행하고, 및 관련된 망사이의 전환은 조정 가능한 방법으로 실행되는 것이 특징인 다중망 전기통신방법.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, 선택된 망에서 통신을 위해 사용되는 통신장치만이 통신을 위해 활성화되는 것이 특징인 방법.
  3. 제 2항에 있어서, 다중망 단말기가 이동전화 및 무선전화 둘 다로서 작동하도록 하는 기증을 가지는 휴대용, 배터리 전원 다중망 전화(1)를 하되, 전환은 이동전화 통신망(21)과 무선전화의 커버영역에서 범위체크를 한 후 이루어지는 것이 특징인 방법.
  4. 제 2항에 있어서, 다중방 단말기(25)가 (a) 이동전화(26)로서 기능하는 휴대용 장치와 (b) 고정전화(33)를 포함하되, 상기 전환은 휴대용 장치를 배터리 충전기(36)내로 삽입시키거나 또는 상기 배터리 충전기(36)로부터 휴대용 장치를 제거할 때 이루어지는 것이 특징인 방법.
  5. 제 3항에 있어서, 다중망 단말기(25)가 이동전화 및 무선전화기로서 기능하는 휴대용 장치(41)를 포함하되, 상기 전환은 휴대용 장치를 배터리 충전기(36)내에 놓거나 또는 상기 배터리 충전기(36)로부터 포켓용 장치를 제거할 때 이루어지는 것이 특징인 방법.
  6. 제 2항에 있어서, 다중망 단말기가 컴퓨터를 포함하되, 다중망 단말기는 사전 설정된 신호를 검지함으로써 단말기가 지역데이터망(60)의 커버영역(68)내에 이치될 때와 이동데이터망(63)의 커버영역내에 있을 때를 검지하는 것이 특징인 방법.
  7. 상기 망중 각 하나에서 통신을 위한 다수의 통신장치; 각 하나가 상기 통신장치에 포함디고 및 해당 검출장치가 결합된 통신장치의 다수상태를 검출하도록 기능하고 및 또한 각 상태에 대응하는 전기신호를 송신하도록 기능하는 다수의 검출장치를 포함하는 다수의 서로 다른 전기통신망에서 통신을 위한 다중망 단말기에 있어서, 각 검출장치로부터의 전기신호를 모니터하고, 및 사전 설정된 결정규범을 기초로 (a) 상기 망 퉁신중 어느 것이 발생되어야 하는 것을 결정하고, (b) 통신하기 위해 다중망 단말기의 제어 유니트에 의해 선택된 망으로 잔여망으로 부터의 필수적인 접속전환을 실행하고, 및 (c) 상기 전환을 조정하기 위한 제어 유니트가 특징인 다중망 단말기.
  8. 제 1전기통신망(21; 63)에서 통신하기 위한 제 1통신장치(8), 제 1전기 통신망과는 독립인 적어도 하나의 제 2전기통신망(14; 60)에서 통신하기 위한 적어도 하나의 제 2통신장치(9); 제 1통신장치의 다수상태를 검출하여 상기 상태에 상응하는 전기신호를 송신시키기 위한 제 1검출기수단(10; 30), 제 2통신장치의 다수상태를 검출하여 상기 상태에 상응하는 전기신호를 송신시키기 위한 제 2검출기수단(10; 31), 및 제 1 및 제 2통신장치로 부터의 전기신호를 수신하기 위한 제어 유니트를 포함하는 다수의 서로 다른 전기통신망에서 통신을 위한 다중망 단말기에 있어서, 상기 제어 유니트에 의해 제어되고 및 제어 유니트(32)가 사전 결정된 제 1신호조합을 수신하면 제 1전기통신망내에서 통신을 위한 제 1통신장치(8)를 활성화시키고, 및 제어 유니트가 사전 결정된 제 2신호조합을 수신하면 제 2전기통신망에서 통신을 위해 제 2통신장치(9)를 활성화시키기 위한 망전환 수단(11)이 특징인 다중망 단말기.
  9. 제 8항에 있어서, 제 1 및 제 2전기통신망과는 독립적인 제 2전기통신망에서 통신을 위한 제 3통신장치, 제 3통신장치의 상태를 검출하여 상기 상태에 상응하는 전기신호를 전송시키기 위한 제 3검출기수단이 특징이되, 제어 유니트는 제 어 유니트가 사전 결정된 제 3신호조합을 수신하면 제 3전기통신망에서 통신을 위한 제 3통신장치를 망전환 수단이 활성과 시키도록 기능하는 것이 특징인 다중망 단말기.
  10. 제 9항에 있어서, 제 1통신장치는 이동전화이고, 제 2통신장치는 고정전화인 것이 특징인 단말기.
  11. 제 8항에 있어서, 제 1통신장치는 이동데이타망에서 통신을 위한 장비를 포함하고, 제 2통신장치는 지역데이타망에서 접속을 위한 장비를 포함하는 것이 특징인 단말기.
  12. 제 9항에 있어서, 제어 유니트는 망전환회로(11)를 포함하는 것이 특징인 단말기,
