Abstract

통상 LO 입력 직교 신호인 위상 에러를 보정하는 I/Q 직교 위상 변조기/복조기 회로. 이 회로는, 그 하부 포트에 I 및 Q 신호가 인가되고, 그 상부 포트에 합 및 차 신호, 한정 신호, 직교 신호 및 미분 신호가 인가되는 한쌍의 길버트 셀 배율기를 사용한다. 그 결과, 회로는 LO 위상 에러에 덜 민감해지고 따라서 통상 하나의 길버트 셀 배율기를 사용하는 종래 회로에 비해 측대역(잔상) 억제를 개선시킨다.

Claims (7)

  1. (a) 제1 및 제2배율기 수단과, (b) 상기 제1배율기 수단에 I 입력 신호를 인가하는 수단 및, (c) 상기 제2배율기 수단에 Q 입력 신호를 인가하는 수단, 을 포함하는 I/Q 직교 위상 믹서에 있어서, (d) 상기 제1 배율기 수단에 서로 위상이 반대된 신호 V1 및 V2를 공급하는 수단과, (e) 상기 제2배율기 수단에, 서로 위상이 반대이고 V1 및 V2 에 대해 90°위상차가 나는 신호 V3 및 V4를 공급하는 수단 및, (f) 상기 제1배율기 수단과 상기 제2배율기 수단의 출력 신호를 결합시키는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 I/Q 직교 위상 믹서.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2배율기 수단은 길버트 셀 배율기인 것을 특징으로 하는 I/Q 직교 위상 믹서.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 각 길버트 셀 배율기는 제3차동쌍과 직렬 접속된 제1 및 제2차동상을 포함하고, 상기 신호들이 이 제1, 제2및 제3차동쌍에 각각 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 I/Q 직교 위상 믹서.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 결합 수단이 합산 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 I/Q 직교 위상 믹서.
  5. 제1항 내지 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 수신 및 처리 수단은 국소 발진 신호의 진폭을 한정하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 I/Q 직교 위상 믹서.
  6. 제1항 내지 5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 수신 및 처리 수단은 90°위상 시프터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 I/Q 직교 위상 믹서.
  7. 제1항 내지 6항 중 어는 한 항에 따른 믹서를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 송수신기.
