Abstract

에어백 조립체용 덮개는 가요성 외판 층 및 가동 도어에 의해서 밀폐된 에어백 전개 개구를 갖는 수용기 부재를 덮는 발포제 층을 포함한다. 상기 도어는 에어백 전개 경로 형성을 위해 발포층 및 외층에 응력을 가해서 분리시키기 위해서 상기 도어를 수용기 부재의 내향 동작에 대해 지지하고 리테이너 부재의 자유로운 힌지 동작을 허용하기 위해서 리테이너 부재의 일부와 겹친다. 상기 가동 도어는 덮개의 제작을 용이하게 하기 위해서 리테이너 부재의 약한 부분에 의해 폐쇄된 위치에 보유될 수 있다.

Claims (10)

  1. 중합체 재료로 된 외층, 상기 외층 내에 위치한 발포층 및 그 내부에 사전 형성된 에어백 전개 개구를 갖고 내부 수용기 부재 내의 에어백 전개 개구와 겹치도록 상기 발포층 및 상기 외층을 수반하는 내부 수용기 부재 및 중합체 재료로 된 외층 및 발포층에 의해서 덮힌 가동 도어를 포함하는 에어백용 덮개에 있어서, 상기 가동 도어가 상기 내부 수용기 부재상의 내향 동작에 대해 상기 가동 도어를 지지하고 상기 수용기 부재상의 그 지지된 위치로부터의 자유 동작을 위해 상기 가동 부재를 지지하기 위한 상기 내부 수용기 부재와 협동하는면들 또는 단부들을 가지며, 내부 수용기 부재는 정지부를 갖고, 상기 가동 도어의 측면은 상기 가동 도어를상기 내부 리테이너 부재의 지지 위치에 보유하기 위해 상기 정지부와 협동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 내부 수용기 부재가 에어백 전개 개구를 정하는 슬리브부를 갖고, 상기 정지부가 상기 슬리브부의 함몰된 부분에 위치하여 상기 도어가 리테이너 부재의 외향으로 돌출되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 정지부가 전단에 저항하기 위해서 쐐기형으로 된 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 덮개가 제작 과정 동안에 상기 가동 도어를 폐쇄 위치에 보유하기 위한 걸쇠를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 정지부가 전단 저항을 갖고 상기 걸쇠는 상기 정지부의 전단 저항보다 작은 전단저항을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 걸쇠가 탄력이 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 걸쇠는 제작과정을 용이하게 하기 위해서 가동 도어가 상기 걸쇠에 걸릴 수 있도록 충분히 탄성이 있고 에어백을 전개할 때 걸쇠로부터의 파편을 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  8. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 가동 도어가 상기 가동 도어를 내부 수용기 부재에 부착시키기 위해 플라스틱 덮개부 및 한 단부의 플라스틱 덮개부에 함침된 금속 삽입체를 포함하는 복합체인 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가동 도어가 각각 상기 내부 수용기 부재에 부착된 단부 및 상기 내부 수용기 부재의 내향 동작에 대해서 상기 도어부를 지지하기 위해서 상기 수용기 부재와 협력하는 대향 면을 갖는 두 개의 도어 부분에 의해서 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가동 도어가 대향 면에 부착된 단부 및 서로에 대해서 대향하는 면들을 갖고, 상기 점지부가 상기 내부 수용기 부재의 내향 동작에 대해서 가동 도어를 지지하기 위해서 가동 도어의 대향 면들과 협동하고, 상기 내부 수용기부재가 상기 가동 도어를 상기 내부 수용기 부재상에 보유하기 위해서 상기 가동 도어의 대향 면과 협력하는 걸쇠를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백용 덮개.
