Claims (1)

  1. 계기판의 구멍내에 삽입되어 있으며 상기 구멍뒤에 배치되어 차량의 프레임에 고정된 강판 프레임에 결합되며, 접혀져 있는 팽창가능한 에어 백, 탄력적인 플라스틱 층으로 만들어져 상기 에어 백을 덮고 있으며, 차량의 길이방향과 교차하는 방향으로 연장되다가 그의 단부들로부터는 차량의 길이방향으로 연장하며 얇은 플라스틱 층으로 구성된 거의 수평한 기준 파단선으로써 상기 계기판의 상부 가장자리쪽으로 접혀지기에 적합한 일부분과 상기 계기판의 하부 가장자리 쪽으로 접혀지기에 적합한 타부분으로서 각각 힌지 영역을 포함하는 두 부분들로 분할된 덮개, 상기 에어 백을 급작스럽게 충전하도록 압축 가스를 발생시키는 가스 발생기, 및 상기 강판 프레임에 결합되어 에어백과 그의 보유 플랜지를 지지하며 상기 힌지 영역들에서 상기 덮개가 고정되어 있는 외주를 가진 가스 발생기 지지대로 구성된 에어백 유닛을 포함하는 차량의 앞좌석 탑승객측의 충격 보호용 장치에 있어서, 상기 플라스틱 층(6)이 상기 덮개(6)의 각부분(10,11)내에 열 가소성 수지와 같은 경질의 플라스틱으로 만들어진 삽입물로 구성되어 힌지 영역(9)내에 융기부를 가진 보강층(7)을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 차량 앞좌석 탑승객측의 충격 보호용 장치.
