Abstract

리드의 개방이 극히 신속하게 실시되는 조수석용에어백장치를 제공한다.
리드(14) 이면의 백업플레이트(22)에는 힌지샤프트(60) 및 힌지플레이트(62)를 보유하는 힌지(64)가 설치되어 있다.
리드마운트브래킷(28)의 윗면에 고착된 혀바닥형상편(66)이 앞쪽으로 연출되어 있고, 힌지플레이트(62)가 그 혀바닥형상편(66)에 볼트로 고착되어 있다.
리드(14)의 윗가장자리는 리드마운트브래킷(28)보다도 윗쪽으로 연출된 외연부(14a)로 되어 있고, 이 외연부(14a)의 배후쪽으로 계기판(50)의 에어백장치(10A) 설치용윈도우(52)의 가장자리부(68)가 배치되어 있다.
인플레이터가 작동하여 리드가 앞쪽으로 열릴때에 리드는 극히 용이하게 회동한다.
따라서, 에어백이 차량실내로 극히 신속하게 전개하도록 됨과 아울러, 에어백을 넓은 범위에 걸쳐서 전개시킬 수 있게된다.

제1도는 실시예에 관한 조수석용 에어백장치의 단면도이며 제2도의 Ⅰ-Ⅰ선 단면도.
제2도는 실시예에 관한 조수석용 에어백장치의 사시도.

Claims (2)

  1. 앞면이 개방된 상자모양의 콘테이너(12)와, 접혀져서 그 콘테이너내로 수납된 에어백(18)과, 그 콘테이너에 부착된 인플레이터(16)와, 상기한 콘테이너의 앞면을 덮고 있는 리드(14)를 구비하여 이루어진 조수석용에어백 장치에 있어서, 힌지샤피트(60)를 회동중심으로 하는 힌지(64)에 의하여 상기한 리드(14)의 한쪽변부분을 콘테이너(12)의 앞가장자리의 일변부에 부착하고, 상기한 인플레이터(16)의 작동시에는 그 힌지샤프트(60)를 회동중심으로서 리드(14)가 개방되도록 한것을 특징으로 하는 조수석용 에어백장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 리드(14)의 한쪽변부분은 상기한 콘테이너(12)의 앞가장자리의 일변부에서 비어져 나오는 리드외연부(14a)로 되어있고, 그 리드외연부(14a)의 힌지(64) 근처에 취약부분이 설치되어 있고, 그 리드 외연부(14a)의 뒷면측에 차량의 계기판(50)의 에어백장치(10A) 설치용 윈도우(52)의 가장자리부(68)가 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 조수석용에어백장치
