Abstract

본 발명은 촉매의 조기 성능열화를 방지할 수 있는 공기분리방법 및 그에 사용되는 장치에 관한 것으로서, 압축공기를 제2흡착탑(5)에 도입하여 공기중의 탄산가스와 물을 흡착제거하고, 상기 제2흡착탑(5)을 경유한 공기를 심랭액화분리하여 질소와 산소로 나누는 공기분리방법은 상기 압축공기를 제2흡착탑(5)에 도입함에 앞서 공기압축시의 압축열에 의해 승온한 압축공기를 냉각하여 강온시킨 후 제1흡착탑(4)에 도입하여 압축공기중의 수분을 흡착제거하고, 이어서 상기 제1흡착탑(4)을 경유한 공기를 촉매탑(9)에 통하여 공기중의 일산화탄소 및 수소를 산화하는 것이며, 촉매탑에 내장된 촉매가 조기에 성능열화하는 일이 없고, 또 장기적인 유지보수가 불필요하고 싼 가격으로 제공되는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Claims (7)

  1. 외부에서 받아들인 공기를 압축하여 압축공기를 만들고, 이 압축공기를 제거수단으로 도입하여 공기중의 탄산가스와 물을 제거하며, 상기 제거수단을 경유한 공기를 심랭(深冷) 액화분리하여 질소와 산소로 나누는 공기분리방법에 있어서, 상기 압축공기를 제거수단에 도입함에 앞서 공기압축시의 압축열에 의해 승온한 압축 공기를 냉각수단에 의해 냉각하여 강온시킨 후 흡착수단에 도입하여 압축공기중의 수분을 흡착제거하고, 다음으로 상기 흡착수단을 경유한 공기를 촉매에 접촉시켜 공기중의 일산화탄소 및 수소를 산화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매가 팔라듐 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흡착수단이 활성 알루미나 및 몰레큘러 시브 중 적어도 몰레큘러 시브인 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리방법.
  4. 제거수단을 겸용할 수 있는 흡착수단이 3개 설치되고, 이 흡착수단을 재생하는 재생수단이 설치되며, 제1단계는 제1흡착수단으로 압축공기중의 탄산가스와 수분을 흡착제거하고, 제2흡착수단으로 촉매에 접촉시킨 공기중의 탄산가스와 물을 흡착제거하고, 제3흡착수단을 재생수단으로 재생하고, 제2단계에서는 제2흡착수단으로 압축공기중의 탄산가스와 수분을 흡착제거하고, 제3흡착수단으로 촉매에 접촉시킨 공기중의 탄산가스와 물을 흡착제거하며, 제1흡착수단을 재생수단에서 재생하고, 제3단계에서는 제3흡착수단으로 압축공기중의 탄산가스와 물을 흡착제거하며, 제2흡착수단을 재생수단으로 재생하는 것을 실시하여, 상기 순서로 제1 내지 제3의 각 단계를 반복하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리방법.
  5. 외부에서 받아들인 공기를 압축하는 공기압축수단과, 상기 공기압축수단을 경유한 압축공기중의 탄산가스와 물을 제거하는 제거수단과, 이 제거수단을 경유한 공기를 질소와 산소로 액화분리하는 심랭 액화분리수단을 구비한 공기분리장치에 있어서, 상기 공기압축수단과 제거수단 사이에 공기압축수단에 의한 압축열에 의해 승온한 압축공기를 냉각하는 냉각수단과, 이 냉각수단에 의해 냉각되어 강온한 공기중의 수분을 흡착제거하는 흡착수단과, 이 흡착수단으로 흡착제거된 공기를 가열하는 가열수단과, 이 가열수단에 의해 가열되어 승온한 공기중의 일산화탄소 및 수소를 산화하는 촉매수단을 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 촉매가 팔라듐 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리장치.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 흡착수단이 활성 알루미나 및 몰레큘레 시브 중 적어도 몰레큘레 시브인 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리장치.
