Abstract

본 발명은 촉매의 초기의 성능악화를 방지할 수 있는 공기분리방법 및 그것에 이용하는 장치에 관한 것으로서, 압축공기를 흡착탑(8,9)에 도입하여 공기속의 탄산가스와 물을 흡착제거하여 상기 흡착탑(8,9)을 거친 공기를 심냉액화분리하여 질소와 산소로 나누는 공기분리방법에 있어서, 상기 압축공기를 흡착탑(8,9)에 도입함에 앞서 공기압축을 할 때의 압축열에 의해서 온도가 상승한 압축공기를 냉동기(4)에 도입하여 압축공기속의 수분을 제거하고, 계속해서 상기 냉동기(4)를 경유한 공기를 촉매탑(7)에 통과하여 공기속의 일산화탄소 및 수소를 산화하는 공기분리방법으로서, 촉매탑에 내장되는 촉매가 조기에 성능악화하지 않고 또한 장기간에 걸쳐서 관리가 불필요하고 가격이 싼 공기분리방법을 제공할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Claims (4)

  1. 외부에서 받아들인 공기를 압축하여 압축공기를 만들고, 이 압축공기를 제거수단에 도입하여 공기중의 탄산가스와 물을 제거하고, 상기 제거수단을 경유한 공기를 심랭액화분리화하여 질소와 산소로 나누는 공기분리방법에 있어서, 상기 압축공기를 제거수단에 도입함에 앞서 공기압축시의 압축열에 의해서 온도가 상승한 압축공기를 냉동기에 통하게 하여 압축공기중의 수분을 제거하고 계속해서 상기 냉동기를 경유한 공기를 촉매에 접촉시켜 공기중의 일산화탄소 및 수소를 산화시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매가 팔라듐 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리방법.
  3. 외부에서 받아들인 공기를 압축하는 공기압축수단; 상기 공기압축수단을 경유한 압축공기중의 탄산가스와 물을 제거하는 제거수단; 및 이 제거수단을 경유한 공기를 질소와 산소로 액화분리하는 심랭액화분리수단을 구비한 공기분리장치에 있어서, 상기 공기압축수단과 제거수단사이에 공기압축수단에 의한 압축열에 의해 온도가 상승한 압축공기를 냉각하여 공기중의 수분을 제거하는 냉동기와, 이 냉동기로 수분제거된 공기를 가열하는 가열수단과, 이 가열수단에 의해 가열되어 온도가 상승한 공기중의 일산화탄소 및 수소를 산화시키는 촉매탑을 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매가 팔라듐 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 공기분리장치.
