Abstract

본 발명은 구조가 간단하고 저렴하게 제조할 수 있고, 또 표시품질도 양호한 칼라필터 액정표시장치를 제공한다.
칼라필터 기판(1)과 대향기판(2)과, 이들 양 기판(1), (2) 사이에 충전된 액정(3)으로 액정표시장치를 구성한다. 칼라필터 기판을, 투명기판(4)과, 그 투명기판의 편면에 형성된 투명전극(5)과, 그 투명전극상에 전착된 칼라필터(6)와, 그 칼라필터의 간극부에 형성된 차광막(7)과, 이들 칼라필터(6) 및 차광막(7)의 표면에 피착된 무기 유전체 막(9)과, 그 무기 유전체 막상에 피착된 투명전극막(10)으로 구성한다. 한편, 대향기판(2)은 투명기판(11)과, 그 투명기판의 편면에 피착된 투명전극 (12)으로 구성한다. 액정(3)으로서는, 액정분자 장축이 투명전극(10), (12) 사이에서 90°연속적으로 비틀리는 네마틱액정을 충전한다.

제1도는 본 발명에 의한 일 실시예에 관계되는 액정표시장치의 요부단면도이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 칼라필터 기판과 대향기판 사이에 액정을 충전하여 이루어지는 액정표시장치에 있어서, 상기 칼라필터 기판으로서, 칼라필터상에 직접 무기 유전체 막이 형성되고, 그 무기 유전체 막상에 투입전극막이 형성된 것을 사용함과 동시에, 이 칼라필터 기판에 형성된 상기 투명전극막과 상기 대향기판에 형성된 투명전극막 사이에, 액정분자 장축이 이들의 투명전극막 사이에서 90°연속적으로 비틀리는 내마틱액정을 충전한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
